Born in Singapore, Asuran Ashrael grew up in a country devoid of personality, spirit, and its own recognizable culture despite its claim of being multicultural.

 

Despite the exposure to different perspectives, the singular way of doing creative work did not appeal to him and instead allowed him to look inward, to find a different way, however long it may take. Some of the best things we have done are simply through words put on pages, and building something with the people that matter the most.

Ultimately, it was never to sell a product or market an image; it was to tell a story that people will remember.
