In this research poster now focusing on the existence on two forms, or interpretations of Buddha between India and China; this was commissioned by other students and lectures to study t he varying effectiveness of layout, color palette in addition to coursework and information being presented, and how it would grab attention.

Purple was chosen as the base color due to its richness and varying shades ranging from lilac to the insanely expensive and impossible to obtain Tyrian purple. Indian-inspired flower motifs were inlaid over dark, shadow-text boxes and with each paragraph pertaining to the different aspect of Buddha from India and China, a watermark of their respective views of the Buddha were added to subconsciously reinforce the content through design.

The image of a slumbering, intricately carved and lithe Buddha amid the reflection of water is symbolic of how Buddha is often remembered now: as the portly, jolly aspect of fortune and prosperity. Each paragraph pertaining to wisdom and critical thinking is linked by red lines, symbolic of what Buddha might have given the world from himself while he was still among the living.
